Fly-Tipping Operations
We have been working…
in partnership with, and in support of, public sector operations for over four years to tackle fly-tipping offences.
We mount investigations, surveillance, technical monitoring and enforcement operations which have resulted in over 100 arrests.
Our service includes:
*Mounted covert CCTV cameras in regularly tipped areas capturing the offence, vehicle details and offenders in the act all on tape.
*Hidden GPS tracking devices in rubbish and monitoring its movements from the point of collection to its illegal dumping.
*Facilitated ‘sting’ operations, in conjunction with the police, to monitor suspected individuals as they pick up our pre-placed rubbish and are then arrested as they fly-tip.
*Enforcement Officers to check the status and currency of waste disposal licences and issued FPNs where appropriate
All our evidence is handled in accordance with DPA, RIPA and PACE and has stood the test of the legal system under challenges from lawyers defending those caught in the act.
More importantly, these are not expensive operations to plan and run, raising funding is easy and well received and it all costs a fraction of the clean up bill the regular offenders are costing you.
