SECURITY INDUSTRY AUTHORITY (SIA)
The Xfor Group holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Security Guarding and Close Protection. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is the Government appointed organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry.
The Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) was introduced by the SIA to provide standards of operational excellence and thereby act as a spur to raise performance across the industry. Xfor holds ACS status and was amongst the first in the sector to gain this coveted status.
INVESTOR IN PEOPLE
Investors in People UK is the organisation that develops and maintains the integrity of the Investors in People framework. There is a team of 41 people who manage the development, policy, promotion and quality assurance of Investors in People. There are twelve licensed Investors in People Centres across the UK, who provide all the day-to-day advice and assessment for over 35,000 customers.
BSIA – British Security Industry Association
The British Security Industry Association is the trade association for the professional security industry in the UK. There are 570+ members responsible for more than 70% of UK security products and services (by turnover) including the manufacture, distribution and installation of electronic and physical security equipment and the provision of security guarding and consultancy services.
ISOQAR – Quality Standards from Approachable Auditors
ISOQAR is an accredited certification body authorised to audit organisations and issue certificates against a variety of management systems. In the UK, this work is regulated by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service – the sole national accreditation body recognised by government.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the products and services an organisation supplies. It prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met.
